C-Breeze Dacron

Looking for a fresh breeze for your cruising sail wardrobe? Dimension‑Polyant’s C-Breeze could just be your perfect mate. As proud members of our woven polyester family, their constructions are low aspect. Which means that warp and fill fibers are not highly unbalanced. The latest generation of C-Breeze products mark a big step into the future as its tighter weave results in better bias stability. Both, warp and fill fibers are high tenacity. The good tensile strength directly relates to the overall strength of the yarn and its resistance ability under load, resulting in a better shape retention over the life of the sail as permanent stretch is reduced. C-Breeze is only available in our MT finish, which is part of our range since many years.

AP Low Aspect Dacron

As our very popular member of the Dacron family, AP Low Aspect combines the best properties of more than one world to achieve a well- balanced and perfectly executed multitalented sail cloth. It fulfils two basic demands, enables sails to hold their shape over a wide wind range and achieves long-term durability. Providing strength and low elongation in the primary direction on one hand, AP Low Aspect delivers excellent bias stretch resistance at the same time. Additionally, it does resist long-term loads as a result of a carefully thought-through cloth construction in interaction with its respective finish. AP Low Aspect comes in various finishes like HMTO, MTO, HTP® plus, FTO and in cloth weights from 4.7 Sm-oz to 11.2 SM-oz, individually composed to the wishes of its future owners. We’ll be happy to introduce you to its almost unlimited talents and make sure to control each step of the production from weaving to beat-shrinking and finishing.

The happy end of the story: a high-performing fabric at your service.

Vectron - Dacron med vectran fiber

Our very own Vectron combines the best properties of two very talented fibers: High strength polyester meets low stretch and high modulus Vectran®. The result of this unique fusion is a tightly woven fabric that on one hand is extremely stable and but at the same time pleasantly easy to handle. That’s because the classic sail manufacturing rule applies: The more tightly woven the material, the more stable it will be and thus the longer your sails will hold shape that your sailmaker of choice designed them to have. Our designers had the requirements and wishes of long-distance and offshore sailors in mind when creating the Vectron family for yachts from 35’ onwards. Dimension‑Polyant has a great deal of experience with this fabric. Its striking features: Vectron simply doesn’t stretch or degrade the way some other earlier fibers might do. No need to say that Vectronalso benefits from our unique UVi® technology reliably  accompanying our sails like high-grade parasols in all waters.

DCX Line - Polyesterlaminat

If you are an ambitious cruising sailor and look for a low stretch material, then here is your straight forward answer: Dimension‑Polyant’s DCX cruising laminates have been developed with the aim of producing a high durability fabric. Of course, we know that it is almost equally important to serve you with a sail that is easy to handle for furling purposes. Thus, our sophisticated line is produced by providing a mesh embedded in two films with a special taffeta on both ends. The mesh fabrics used offer an excellent warp stretch value as well as a high tear strength. The film covering taffetas are robust and additionally coated with our unique UVM® Finish, adding two more desired features to the sail: It will be protected against harmful UV radiation and mildew growth gets reduced. Now, Dimension‑Polyant’s DCX line represents one of the latest sandwich laminate developments in the industry. To create the DCX line we have upgraded the DC mother line by a 9° X-PLY®. Your sail will definitely benefit from this significantly increased support for the occurring diagonal forces.
